Impermanence can be defined as the state or fact of lasting for only a limited period of time, the understanding that this too will change. Making art with the earth brings Alana to a meditative state of mind where she can truly feel impermanence. In each time a leaf moves, or the elements change the course of a piece.

A land acquisition campaign video for the purchase and protection of KELÁ_EKE Kingfisher Forest. Raincoast Conservation Foundation and the Pender Islands Conservancy teamed up and successfully protected this property after raising $2.18 million.

Habitat Acquisition Trust - Good Neighbour’s project

Property owners have many questions about how to find a balanced approach working on the land (in harmony) with nature, rather than against it. This video is to raise awareness of Habitat Acquisition Trust’s Good Neighbours Program which provides landowners with the tools to be habitat stewards of natural ecosystems around them.

Protect the Fraser Estuary - reject Terminal 2 expansion

The Port of Vancouver is proposing to double the size of the Deltaport shipping terminal in the heart of the Fraser estuary, putting further stress on an estuary that has already lost more than 70% of its floodplain. This campaign video was put together for a collaboration of non-profits who are working together to stop the Terminal 2 expansion project.
